About Cindy Hovig and Her Team
Cindy Hovig is founder and owner of Beyond Balanced Books Inc. of Morgan Hill, California. For over twenty-five years, she has worked with small business owners to help them clean up and maintain their books in a timely and accurate manner. Her company offers accounting software consulting, including cleanup, setup, and training. She also offers bookkeeping and accounting services for small businesses and specializes in service-based businesses. Cindy loves learning about technology and attends accounting technology conferences and webinars on a regular basis.

Cindy’s first accounting job was in Accounts Receivable at the early age of 16. She founded her company in 1990, and has been helping small businesses use technology wisely for more than twenty-five years to keep accurate and timely books. When Cindy is not working, she enjoys cooking, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Amanda is our Staff Bookkeeper She is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor , a Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor and a Xero Certified Advisor. She loves working in accounting because it’s like solving a puzzle where everything fits together in the end.
Amanda performs a variety of bookkeeping tasks for clients. She loves learning new things which is vital as we work with ever changing technology.
Amanda is organized, resourceful and trustworthy. She has prior experience as an office manager and bookkeeper for an HVAC contractor. When Amanda is not working, she enjoys archery, hiking, and bike riding with her husband.
Jessica is our Staff Accountant. Jessica is a Xero Certified Advisor. Newly transplanted to California from the Midwest, Jessica brings with close to 10 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting. Her past experience ranges from assisting small businesses to handling accounts for a luxury resort on the shores of Lake Michigan. In her opinion, no matter the size of your enterprise, good financial knowledge and organization is the key to continual stability and growth. She takes an honest and straightforward approach to her work which has helped her build strong professional relationships.
When Jessica is not working, she enjoys cooking, art, crocheting, and spending time outdoors with her family and friends.
Rebekah is our Junior Bookkeeper. She is a Xero Certified Advisor. Rebekah is currently taking her first college bookkeeping course. She loves how Xero makes bookkeeping so easy.
Rebekah keeps our office running smoothly. She process client payments, makes deposits, orders our supplies, handles our social media. Rebekah also assists with client bookkeeping tasks.
Rebekah is energetic, enthusiastic and fun to have around. When Rebekah is not working, she enjoys cooking, camping, hiking, and spending time with her husband and their Corgi.
